After many years, the garden gnomes can lose their bright colours. They look faded and tired. It is the time to repaint them. If there are few of them, it can be fun for the whole family to get involved, but in my case I did it all by myself.

We have quite a few of gnomes over the years, and many of them were given to me as gifts. If you like gardening, family and friend will give you things for the garden πŸ™‚ I used acrylic paints from a discount shop.

These three small gnomes are made of solid concrete, very heavy and they were not painted before. They had been sitting in the garden for a long time and the surface had started to get crumbly. I sanded them a little bit and applied base paint. The one that is laying down has lost the feet. After finished being painted, they look quite cute.
